The Rainforest Alliance. A nonprofit conservation organization based in New York, is the world’s leading certifier of forestlands to the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). FSC certification assures customers that wood products including lumber, paper, furniture and flooring come from forests that are managed to conserve biodiversity and support local communities. The Rainforest Alliance also offers tools and resources to businesses that want to source certified wood products.

The Sustainable Forestry Initiative® Program is North America's largest sustainable forest management system, balancing the need for forest and paper products, with responsible forest stewardship.

The Sustainable Forestry Initiative® Program
www.irishwoods.com The Lisnavagh Timber Project specialises in Irish homegrown hardwood timber. With all the timber sold from the project, traceability paper work is provided, with reference numbers tracing each board back to the log it was cut from, to the tree, to the location, together with the reason why that tree was felled and what has been done to replace it. We believe we are one of the few if not only companies in Ireland that is this precise or specific when it comes to traceability.
