My remote interior design services offer a mid level service for those who would like to hire an interior designer without the additional cost of design fees; on site survey, one to one consultation, final design presentation appointment and project implementation.

Remote interior design services can be conducted remotely at your convenience and will give you the client/contractor plans and documents needed to either carry out or manage your interior project yourself. Perfect for those who love decorating and DIY but equally love having a professional design their home.

The design process

Stage 2 - Initial Consultation
When you decide to proceed with your interior project, I will provide you with a detailed questionnaire and a complimentary ebook on how to survey your interior. Please complete these and return them to me with some photographs of your interior by post or email. Before I commence your project I will send an email with the confirmed price structure, to be paid via Paypal.

Stage 3 - Concept Design
From our remote consultation and on receipt of payment, I will explore your ideas to develop mood boards. These boards are visual representations showing initial inspirational concepts of your interior; colour schemes, atmosphere, aesthetics, detailing, materials and furniture. At this stage these boards are for reference only and may not reflect the specific products or materials to be specified as these will be finalised at a later stage. I will also provide you with a basic design brief which is a written document that expresses my design concepts in verbal form. These documents will be emailed to you as .pdf files for you to view at your leisure. We can discuss your thoughts on these concepts via email or IM - your input and feedback are essential. I am keen to know what you like as much as what you don’t like so that our ideas about the proposed design become parallel.

Stage 4 - Design Presentation
This stage refines everything previously discussed into a final design and concept presentation which translates your ideas into a room / house setting. The final presentation documents will be sent by email to you as .pdf files and by post where necessary (scaled technical drawings).

Stage 5 - Additional Services
If you decide to progress to this stage you will be provided with as many of the following documents as you wish: sample boards, materials/ product sourcing & selection, environmental specifications and various contractor plans & specifications. These documents will be sent by email to you as .pdf files. * Stage 5 is not available in all locations

Stage 6 - Modifications
You may revise the final design, I will happily provide a quotation for rework. The modified design presentation will be sent by email to you at an additional cost.
