Waste
- During site clearance prior to the renovations, as much as possible was donated, freecycled or reused
- Reuse of as much construction waste as possible

Materials & Finishes
- Non toxic wall, timber & metal paint
- Moulding stained with natural finish
- Natural & renewable bamboo flooring
- No adhesive used with planked flooring
- Raised flooring using timber battens & sheeting
- Left over flooring planks used to create wainscotting in the WC
- Natural sisal flooring
- Formaldehyde free MDF

Furniture
- Reclaimed teak bedstead
- Sustainable mango wood benches
- Reclaimed timber chairs
- Reclaimed granite used to create WC basin
- Left over teak lengths (from reclaimed bedstead) crafted into Japanese archway
- Most of the furniture is hand made, using traditional woodworking techniques rather than adhesives and fixings

Furnishings
- Hand woven rugs
- Natural & renewable bamboo flooring

Lighting
- LED par can theatre lights
- Landfill recovered aluminium truss for lighting support
