Goat hair carpet on a roll made from a blend of fibres ranging from 30% to 100% natural goat hair.
Look for the highest content of goat hair.
Ensure that any blends are natural fibres such as wool and not mixed with nylon or synthetic fibres.
Available in ribbed and corded profile.
A wide range of colours available (check with the manufacturer regarding the type of dye used).

Look for backing material made from natural jute.
The natural properties of goat hair reduce VOC emissions to low or zero levels depending on the backing, treatments and dyes used.
Ensure that the carpet is fitted with a water based and chemical free adhesive.
Performance
Depending on quality of product, goat hair is durable and will not wear and tear easily.

Dry/damp cleaning can be done twice a year.
